I get bluescreens on my computer, how to fix?

About a year ago I purchased a computer. I had a job where I traveled most of the time, so the occasional blue screen really didn’t bother me. (Plus I worked like 70hrs/week so i was too lazy to deal with tech issues and return it for another one)

Anyway I get the BSOD about once per day. Usually it’s a “Memory Management” error abut sometimes it’s PFN_list_corrupt or IRQ_Not_less_than_or equal. Several hours before I actually get the bluescreen most programs on my computer begin to crash frequently. This can be anything – from browsing the internet to playing video games to something as simple as opening a word document or opening any window on my desktop.

I’ve tried reformatting it’s not a virus as I’ve had this problem since Day 1. I’ve upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, no issues resolved. My drivers are up to date. I’ve performed countless memory tests that have passed so i think my RAM is fine. Rebooting doesn’t seem to help. I clean my computer every few months and get rid of any excess dust. No viruses have been found. I really doubt its a software problem. Is this something that is common with 64 bit computers? Why does HP sell their customers such lame products?

For my high school technology class, I’m supposed to interview someone who works in the IT field. Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone that fulfills the requirements of the assignment. Here is the list of questions:

1. Personal information (employee name, employer name, workplace address, work telephone number, job title, number of years on current job, years of computer experience).

2. What kind of computer system(s) do you use (hardware, software, printers, other related equipment)?

3. What kind of training have you received in order to use the computer system effectively? Do you find the IT Technical Staff in your firm to be helpful and easy to work with?

4. What business processes (operational) are supported by the IT systems in your workplace?

5. How does management use the IT system to support their activities?

6. Is your system part of a network? If so, who is the network administrator? How often do you interact with the administrator? What kinds of issues do you discuss with the administrator?

7. Are your computer systems connected to your customers, suppliers or partners? If so, describe how the system is used to connect to these entities.

8. As your career has progressed, what changes in IT have you noticed and how have these changes in IT contributed to your performance?

9. Has using the computer system at work influenced your life outside of work? If so, in what way?

10. What advice would you give to a new employee about the IT supported workplace?

*Apparently we’re supposed to find someone with 10 years work experience. I guess if it’s close to 10 it won’t matter.
**If someone kindly does answer these questions, would you mind if I e-mailed 5 follow-up questions? We need to come up with 5 questions of our own, and I don’t know what to ask without prior information.

I know this might take some time, but if anyone is willing to answer these questions I would be eternally grateful!!!

I am looking for a smart note manager (GTD) with web clipping ability, image, formatted text, table, etc. support. Important feature is to save the note database locally. I tried Onenote, Springnote, EssentialPIM and other PIM software, many knowledge management software, personal wikis but I doesn’t find a software such Evernote. The problem with Evernote is that it requires online login to connect to database and the free version offers limited data storage.

Is there a FREE money management software that does not ask for you bank info?

I just want some software where I input my expenses for that month and it will show me a graph of what I spent for what categories. I don’t need some software where it wants my bank info and all this other stuff.
Mint and quicken was asking for bank info.

It is from “WoWAccountEU@review.blizzard.com”, which is not the official Blizzard email address, yet when I click on the link to reset my password, no “Web Forgery Detected!” page comes up, and the start of the url is in blue, which states the site is secure.

I really don’t know if this is a true email or not. Are these hackers just using smarter tactics, or is this an official email?

Note: Another thing that confused me was that it’s the US BattleNet; my WoW account is European. Though I have sent an email to US Battlenet before (By mistake )

I want establish a company which will make financial risk management soft wares for small investment companies and banks who can’t afford to develop in-house software.
